We have several offices in Central and Southern England and have ambitious plans to expand our business. To support the organisation’s growth, we have created a new opportunity for a Accounts & CT Administrator to join our Sutton office. This is a permanent full-time role that will work across the Accounts service line to ensure accurate and timely administration.
The Role
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for maintaining organised and secure records of clients’ documents, returns, and correspondence across offices.
  • Ensure compliance with record retention policies and data security standards.
  • Communicate with clients in a clear and professional manner, addressing their questions and concerns.
  • Provide guidance on deadlines and required documentation.
  • Submit accounts electronically or by mail to relevant authorities in accordance with deadlines.
  • Verify the acceptance and processing of submitted accounts and address any issues that may arise.
  • Take ownership of the Corporate Tax payment reminder process, drafting CT reminder letters and emails.
  • CT Submissions & CT repayments – chasing and monitoring.
  • Dealing with general day to day administration for the team.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients to ensure their long-term satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services or refer clients to other professionals when necessary.
  • Liaising with HMRC where necessary.

About You
  • GCSEs in Maths and English at grade 5 or above
  • Proven communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong IT skills, specifically MS Suite and able to pick up new IT packages very quickly
  • Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • A positive, confident and proactive attitude 
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and self-motivated
  • Relevant work experience and/or experience of working within a fast paced office environment would be great but is not essential
